SWEDEN – Hans Bergenheim has been appointed as marketing director at SKr340bn (€36bn) Alecta, the Stockholm based pension plan and asset management firm.
In addition, Bergenheim will become a member of the senior management board. He joins early next year from Ikano Banken, where he is managing director.
The appointment comes at a time of restructuring within Alecta, with the marketing area becoming a separate business organisation. It previously formed part of Alecta’s insurance organisation.
In addition, Björn Nilsson has moved from his role as Collective Reserve project manager to manager for International Pensions, responsible for examining and implementing new business ideas in light of the increasing internationalisation of Swedish business and the European Union’s occupational pensions directive.
The Collective Reserve project now comes under the wing of the insurance business area.
